Billa Qause on the roof from DazzlerBit on Vimeo.

Some of the dope shit you'll run across on Vimeo man...

Here we got Billa Qause... on the roof... runnin' through some of his beats in live mode on that MPC...

Lots of recognizable samples, lots of nice lil' chops.. all in all, a coo ass video that should be pretty inspiring to all of ya bedroom beatsmiths... enjoy.

Video: Strong Arm Steady - Classic (Live Performance)

New looks from Steady Gang, off their excellent and slept-on collabo LP with Statik Selektah, "Stereotype" ...

The fellas; Krondon, Mitchy Slick and Phil Da Agony were all in the building over at Knocksteady TV and decided to throw down a live performance and recite "Classic" for you folks...

Single: Point Blank ft. Inspired - The Train

Very nice and nod-worthy new track from Danish (yes, from Denmark) newcomers, Point Blank, who enlist the help of emcee Inspired, to completely go in on this banging, yet subtly groovy new track, "The Train"...

This joint is truly worth the cop on vinyl in case you're interested, but if you're lacking the funds at the moment, go head' and just press 'play' below...

I'd hate not to give all the components of this amazing group/band their due, below is a lineup of who plays what:

LouiLou - Rap
Emil Hesselbæk - Trumpet
Frederik Hagner - Saxophone
Carl Emil Johansen - Piano
Mathias Klysner - Guitar
Thomas Lund - Bass
Jakob Vinther - Drums

...and finally, since I'm so taken with these cats, as you should be, I really gotta recommend their EP from last year, "Don't Let The Minute Hand Slap You".

Video: EvitaN - Keep Keepin On

Two of the most respected OG's you'll ever get the chance to witness do they thing together return again in their group mode as EvitaN, as they drop this uber nice new visual accompaniment to their uber dope "Keep Keepin On" track..

As per usual the Hip-Hop and feel good vibes ooze throughout this and the bedroom studio visuals are magnificent... This was actually more of a live performance for KnockSteady TV, but damnit, I'm callin it the vid! This is too nice...

Video: Mr. Woodnote & Eva Lazarus - "Untitled"

European Sax wiz Mr. Woodnote teams with Bristol, UK songstress/emcee Eva Lazarus for a super Jazzy tune that has no official title, but plenty of character..

This is such a shot in the arm man...I needed this... great musicianship all the way around....and yeah, I guess they shot the video in an abandoned bus..in a field.. lol.. don't get no liver than that!

Damu the Fudgemunk & Flex Matthews 30 Minute Freestyle Session

Ya'll already know how huge of a fan I am of Damu The Fudgemunk's innate ability to bring rap's golden age alive with a new flair via his insanely dope beats, so it should come as no surprise that when this leaked onto the net sometime last week I had to peep it..

Inside Damu's lab, the Fudgemunk and D.C. rhymer/blogger Flex Mathews decided to go ham & cheese sandwich for damn near 30 minutes on an impromptu freestyle session ....and someone had the good sense to record it live..tons of dope rhymes and you know Damu was lettin you hear some of those golden beats as well... enjoy.

Single: The Lo Frequency - Think Of

There's music and then there's MUSIC... the Brooklyn based Hip-Hop band known as The Lo Frequency (formerly Chen Lo & The Liberation Family) is definitely the purveyor's of the latter, if you catch my drift...

Fresh off their residency in Beirut where they lived and performed with local talent on the daily, the band of artists is prepping their new album "The Export" for release in about a week... But before we're rocked by an entire stellar album we must be conditioned...therefore "Think Of" must be experienced... dive in...

Video: Nas Performs Live At Gansevoort Plaza, NYC

Nasir still rockin' live nice sonny!

Despite being a lil stiff up on what looks to be a tiny ass stage, Esco went ahead and kicked a pretty decent performance of "It Ain't Hard To Tell" as well as "Made You Look" at Gansevoort Plaza, NYC to a receptive crowd...

In between songs Nas graciously thanked Bacardi for the airfare and beamed with excitement over his new album coming soon that he states is his "heart and soul"....hmmmm....we'll have to see.

Y'all ain't ready....

Video: Jean Grae ft. Talib Kweli & Styles P - R.I.P. (prod. Ski Beatz)

Jean Greasy hits us with some new footage from a show and set that she tore down with Talib and SP....what can I say, she's just that deal ppl....been that deal...

Who else loves this typa video treatment? I know I do...enough with the overly glitzy and self-involved video shoots...tape yaselves performing somewhere and then set ya tune to it and boom! Video made baby!

Jean's new album "Cookies Or Coma" will drop later this year and judging by this and the other leaks we've heard, I'm pretty confident in it's prowess to be memorable....

After a blisteringly dope live freestyle, Mega Montana breaks down what his next release, titled "Cormega Raw Forever" is gonna be....

A mixtape with a live band? 2 CD's? Hmmmm...Sort of want..I think the best news was that for his actual next studio album he got Large Professor to do up the single...can't wait for that...
