Here's his very well executed remix version of Talib's "Push Thru" cut that features Spitta alongside Kendrick Lamar goin bar for bar.. Very dope stuff, and dare I say better than the original, and that's sayin a lot considering that the first one is nice...

Single: J.Period & Black Thought - Rage Is Back Freestyle

Ya know, shit like this proves yet again why this man Black Thought is one of the all-time most un-fuckwitable cats ever on the mic..

To assist writer Adam Mansbach with the new mixtape he's doin with J.Period to create some buzz for his new book, "Rage Is Back", Black Thought goes ahead and freestyles over Nas's classic cut, "NY State Of Mind" from his all-time classic record "Illmatic"..

In case you're not familiar with Mansbach, the man is a hell of a writer.. hell of a writer, and you should def. peep out his works. I know most folks these days know him from his hilarious "adult children's book" "Go The Fuck To Sleep", but some of his other works, most notably "Angry Black White Boy: A Novel", shouldn't go un-noticed.. and yeah, his new book, "Rage Is Back" dropped 5 days ago.. so be sure to grab that too.

What else can I say about this except that it's absolutely what you wanna hear from Talib and that it'll make you nostalgic for the good ol' days, i.e. the late 90's..

Single: Truck North ft. Asher Roth & Black Thought - Capital Crime (prod. by The WURXS)

Truck North drops the fourth single off his upcoming "Our American Cousin" EP, coming back out to play with the assistive services of Asher Roth (who has strangely enough, been a lot more bearable since "Pabst & Jazz") and none other than Philly rhyme high priest, Black Thought..

I'm quite liking this.. WURXS minimalist, yet dope concoction is a righteous pallet for which Black Thought gets to murder Asher over.. lol.. nah, but seriously, great verses all around, but yeah, Thought's still got it..
