If ya don't know Moka, ya just don't know ya dope, Canadian Hip-Hop OR your most prolific workhorses in all of Hip-Hop period...

Mr. Mista (Moka Only & Mr. Brady) - The Bug Out EP

One of Canada's most prolific beatmaking, rappin and project releasing cats, AKA Moka Only combines his considerable talents with southern Cali beatmaking force in his own right Mr. Brady for a brand new project, titled, what else? LOL, "The Bug Out EP"

Under the group name Mr. Mista, Moka and Brady unleash some heat for all their loyal fans that demand that off kilter, wonky, manic boom bappery type stuff... 7 tracks, Moka produces 4 , Brady 3... settle in..

Video: Muneshine - Lower Level

What do you get when you take one of Canada's best, a staple in 90s NYC production and some really dope Parkour visuals? You got Muneshine's tuff ass new video, "Lower Level", that's what...

Assisted by Buckwild's un-aging style of boom bap and aggression, Mune shows off his rapper hand movements, lol.. seriously.. a really cool vid.. directed by Ken Galloway and Scott McClelland

Single: Bored Stiff ft. Moka Only - Return Of The Backpacker (prod. by Dren Doh)

Legendary underground Bay Area crew Bored Stiff (White Mic, Big Shawn & Dren Doh on this particular cut) returns with a truly dope new loosie, that features the always busy and forever enigmatic Canadian MC, Moka Only..

This bubbly, head nodding piece of goodness starts off paying a lil' bit of homage to the late MCA and then moves into all the fellas speaking on the state of music today.. the bad side of it mostly, but make no mistake, even while critiquing the game, these cats manage to show us why they've been able to stay afloat in it so long...

Hey man, some will call it a comeback, but this backpacker ain't never gone anywhere..

Single: Nelly Furtado ft. Nas - Something

The always beautiful and equally talented Nelly Furtado drops her new single "Something" that comes complete with a 16 from Nasir...

Single: Rakaa ft. Prevail (Of Swollen Members) - Frequent Flyers (prod. by DJ Babu)

Brand new dopeness from two thirds of probably what will go down as my favorite group of all-time from out west...

Rakaa links with Swollen Members' (another great group, imported from Canada) Prevail and DJ Babu for a complete banger.. You'll dig this, or ya just don't like that real.. Babu hasn't lost his flair for beats that make you wanna run through walls and Prevail adds a nice touch of his own as well...

Prince Ali - SP1200 EP

Only a true student of the game can instantly tell when he hears that distinguished 12 bit crunch that only the SP-1200 can make.. It's a sampling drum machine that to me, defined a whole era, and continues to define what's best about this culture...

Fitting then that Prince Ali has gone ahead and re-released some of his best SP-produced cuts on a new EP that you can swoop for free...

New 10 track EP titled "SP1200" by Toronto's P.A. (Prince Ali). Featuring appearances from Oddisee, Kev Brown, Emilio Rojas and more. A little best of EP remastered and mixed with a crystal clear sound. The EP is stricly SP1200 heavy beats with some soulful exceptions.
