Single: Sunni Colón - Thrill (prod. by Patrick Lukens)

Ahhh, feel that? That's the sound of D O once again rockin' out to some shit folks had no idea he would feel..

L.A. singer/rapper Sunni Colon takes a superbly wavy production from Patrick Lukens and crafts a pretty dope cut over it.. I even dig the semi-distorted vocals.. nice work.. a very different kinda love joint.

Single: Miguel - Can't Sleep 2gether

Main reason this is going up is b/c Adult Swim always holds muthafuckas down on the musical tip.. and, yeah, I mean, I'mma support my dude Miguel despite those comments not so long ago about "black people" on Twitter.. (you half black yourself Mexicano!) and because, yeah this joint just goes...

Don't expect his usual brand of R&B/slowgroove.. this is a lil' different, but still coo..

Single: The Black Opera ft. Mayer Hawthorne - Queen Of Hearts

And juist like that... I'm back...

New heat here from the illest new, and ultra secret group out there.. the Black Opera.. assisting with the vocals, DJ Haircut Mayer Hawthorne..

Their new record is out there... sniff around that bandcamp to find it..

Video: Rapsody ft. Raheem DaVaughn - Non Fiction

Jamla's 1st lady Rapsody adds some dope visuals to her "Non-Fiction" track, off her already available and highly acclaimed debut LP "The Idea Of Beautiful" ...

North Click crooner Raheem DeVaughn adds his vocals to the chorus and Rapsody dismantles the verses.. you know what time it is..and we love the black and white videos around here!

Single: Cool Nutz ft. The Grouch and Arjay - Mine

Real dope cool out meets boom bap vibe on this one here from Portland's own, Cool Nutz..

It's a track from his "Portland Ni%#a" LP, that combines his real speak with that of The Grouch, of Living Legends fame and the soulful vocalizing of Arjay. Real nice record here and if you haven't peeped "Portland Ni%#a" out yet, do so, it's also quality..

Bilal - The Retrospection Curated By Vikter Duplaix

Hey, if you know what Bilal is about than this tape needs little to no hype...

Soul, smooth and Neo at times is what this man continues to serve up, with a few new variations for the times, but nothin that will alienate his longtime fans rest assured...

It's free and it's from one of the best out there doin it.. Grab it while it's hot, a "like" and a "share" on FB is all you need in order to get ya download on.. I know nuthin' abt what that truly entails (not on FB yet) but it don't sound like a whole lot..

Single: Bilal ft. Krondon - Flying - J.Rocc Remix

The turntablist wiz known the world over as J.Rocc adds his eclectic remix touches to one of the cooler tracks off an extremely cool album; Bilal's "Flying" from his sophomore release "Airtight's Revenge".

The new re-imagining of the track is just so creative and well done.. I love the drum break J.Rocc utilizes in it, and the menacing synth stabs.. and hey, it wouldn't be a party without one third of the Steady gang, Krondon..
