Single: Electric Guest - The Bait (Shlohmo Remix)

Here's a new twist on what was originally a much different kinda record from L.A.-based band, Electric Guest. The new version of "The Bait" comes courtesy of fellow La La Lander, Shlohmo; a producer/beatmaker/percussionist type that has a sound all his own...

Peep it out and remember that PHH is home to more than Hip-Hop ladies and gents... Always has been.

Gangrene - Odditorium

Maybe I should bounce for a fuckin' week more often... I come back to the Internets and discover a bunch of ill shit..

2nd dope FeEP out now is this-- "Odditorium", the 4 track wonderment from Gangrene (Alchemist and Oh No) that I actually saw for the first time earlier today in physical form (vinyl) at a record store day function..

Singles: Cut Chemist ft. Blackbird - Outro (Revisited)

One of the best DJ's, turntablists and producers in Cali ever AKA Cut Chemist, AKA the guy who played the science teacher in the film Juno, is preparing to drop another solo release on us titled "Die Cut (A Stable Sound)"...

"Outro (Revisited)" has that dope, manic and upbeat feel to it that blurs the lines between Hip-Hop, punk and speed metal..I digs this.. I rage to this...I will throw a TV at your head to this...

Video: Evidence - You (prod. by DJ Premier)

This man Ev wasted no time in gettin the video out for this banger...

"Cats And Dogs" on 9/27 folks!!

LRG Presents...Exile - Intro To The Outro (Mixtape)

Little bit late on this one...please forgive me, I was too busy actually fuckin bumpin' it in my headphones...

Yeah, all of you know how big a fan of Exile's I am, and if not, look up how many posts he's gotten from me... sheeit, or just know that I copped his debut album "Dirty Science"... In any case, if you're like me and can't get enough of his production/work than this new mixtape is a must-peep...

In conjunction with LRG Clothing, Exile drops a huge portion of previously unreleased, remixed and new joints on your collective heads. I was really pleased with this man, it's a real mixtape and a real ode to some of the artists Exile has worked with over time.

Do check out the "medley" tracks on here as well, those are nuts...

Video: 2Mex - Press Your Luck

Had your dose of apocalyptic, paranoid and anarchic imagery yet today? No? Well, insert 2Mex's new video for their dead pan, yet oddly funky "Press Your Luck" track off their latest release "My Fanbase Will Destroy You"

Single: Evidence - You (prod. by DJ Premier)

Man, what can you say when Ev gets together with Premier? I mean, you got a guy, who to me, is two for two when it comes to his solo releases and has the history of being in one of, if not thee best underground collectives on the west coast... Then you combine that with just, one of the all-time greatest producers the game's ever known who's been holdin it down for three decades and hasn't lost a step...

What you're gonna get is "You", another stunning new revelation from "Cats And Dogs", Ev's forthcoming sophomore LP that is gonna fucking wake some ppl up..

Video: Planet Asia - Inspiration

More proper stuff we missed while we were out....

Fresno, CA vet Planet Asia hits us with a new video for his powerful track "Inspiration" off one of his recent LP's, "The Crack Belt Theater" which IMO was pretty heavily slept on...joint had plenty of really great work from P.A., go grab it if you haven't already...
