Singles: Homeboy Sandman - Whatchu Want From Me? (prod. by Oddisee)

Ahhhhh man... this is just.. wow.. how is Oddisee not in your Top 10 Best producers yet, and how have you not went out and copped everything associated with Homeboy Sandman yet??

Here the two burgeoning superstars in the upper realms of the underground fuel each other's creativity and craft a classic type cut, "Whatchu Want From Me?"

Homeboy's upcoming LP "First Of A Living Breed" drops on September 18th!!

Single: Killah Priest - The Park

One of the most prolific and consistent Wu-Affiliates, AKA Killah Priest laces the world with a complete banger...

You were meant to run this back 10 times yo.. Just that dense verbiage that Priest does so effortlessly, and has done for over a decade on "The Park"...

Singles: Toki Wright ft. Felix, Mastermind & Mayda - Therapy

We all need a lil' therapy from time to time... How about some music from Toki Wright? Sound good to me...

Here the Twin Cities, Rhymesayers emcee links with Felix, Mastermind and Mayda for a nicely executed banger with tons of force...

"Therapy" stems from Toki's "Speed Of Life Series", that finds Mr. Wright writing, producing, recording a song in 24 hours, everyday for 7 days...

Single: Gensu Dean ft. David Banner - Alice In Wonderland

We all know em' man.. there's always that chick that has been hurt, often irrevocably, who you can see that beauty and potential in, but yet cannot see it in herself or much of anyone else for that matter.. We wish we could swoop em' away into a mystical place where they could let their guard down for a minute.. but often their view can be skewed...

Alas, Wonderland ain't real, but Gensu Dean and David banner's new single, off Gensu's new LP is... Get up on game ladies...

Single: Dominique LaRue - Circulate

One of the better new femcees out there, Miss. LaRue returns with a new, boisterous single titled "Circulate"...

D/Will laces the proper production work and Dominique goes to work with that now un-mistakable voice laying out a vivid scene...

Get ready for her upcoming release "Diem", which drops on the 30th of April....

Eric Lau - Put Me On It (Last Night On Earth) Vol. 1

London-based Eric Lau is quickly becoming one of my fav. new beatsmiths..

Forget the fact that he handles the button pushin and drum programmin' in a manner that the late, great J Dilla himself would tip his hat to, this man is also a great DJing/mix talent..

You think I'm bullshitin, than just listen to this new, 70 minute mix of his "Put Me On It (Last Night On Earth)"...I'll just say this, if you dig vinyl goodies/mixes, this is def. up your alley.. tons of that on here.. Eric plucks some goodies out for us man..   description below:

"I often get approached to compile mixes and have free reign to do whatever but this time I was given a theme, ‘Last Night On Earth’. I was like okaaay, this is a challenge. Many thoughts and images came through but I never really thought about death as being my last night on earth, more that I would be flying to another place somehow. Probably on some craft or I would suddenly have the ability to fly, either which way I can picture myself with my iPod and Sennheisers on. There’s isn’t any contemporary music in the mix apart from Dilla because I would like to think everyone would be leaving earth too! The selection is based on a combination of good memories and what I personally look for in music. This is what I would like to listen to on my ascent away from Earth, I hope you enjoy is as much I do!"-Eric Lau

Video: DJ Qbert And Del In The Studio

Video: Blu - jesus∆

Latest vid from our man Blu...

Stunningly vibrant video... love how this was shot.. although I'm pretty sure you could lay mostly anything under some Madlib production and it's gonna turn out right. To his credit, the directer got some help that way, but totally matched that energy tenfold.. the visuals man! Excellent ish'!!

Single: MC Ehit - All Hood (prod. by Brenk Sinatra) [Radio Rip]

What you thought we forgot about the West??

MC Eiht (and DJ Premier) swing thru the Internets to drop off the radio rip a new MC Eiht banga, "All Hood"...

Over Austrian producer Brenk Sinatra's subdued, yet hypnotic production Eiht does what Eiht does.. and that's create a song that even in 2012 defines the soul of L.A. Hip-Hop at it's best..

MC Ehit - All Hood (prod. by Brenk Sinatra) [Radio Rip]

Singles: Slick Rick - Need Some Bad (prod. by DJ Premier)

Whoa! Brand new heat from the man, the legend, Slick Rick, with Premo on the boards!

It's off that new flick The Sitter, that if I know my Jonah Hill flicks, should provide a few decent gags...

What does this joint cover tho subject wise? What else but a topic that can hit so close to home for a lot of cats, and ain't the usual rap braggadocio, but rather, a legend still doing what he does so well and being 100 X's more relatable than these new jacks who continually lie on they dicks, assuring their equally, oft-insecure listeners that they're lady slayers and always have been---dude, be for real..lol..salute to every man that knows what a dry spell feel like..

Slick Rick - Need Some Bad (prod. by DJ Premier)

Singles: The Roots ft. Phonte & Dice Raw - One Time

We now have the latest single off the upcoming (Dec. 6th) new LP "undun" from The Legendary Roots Crew, that, after hearing this, just really is shaping up to be a 4th qtr classic...

Here Phonte and fellow Illadelph native and frequent collaborator Dice Raw go in with Black Thought over a perfect 1,2 piano loop and a drum loop that sounds an awful lot like Questlove was mimicking Mountain's "Long Red" break, but don't hold me to that...matter of fact I'm pretty sure I'm wrong, lol..

Just play this.. you'll be a better person for it...and oh yeah, Thought took that...yup...man is still so seminally untouchable on that mic.

The Roots ft. Phonte & Dice Raw - One Time
