For years now Dead Prez has been one of my favorite political Hip-Hop groups and have kept the power of strong political commentary within the culture going. Recently they've teamed up with DJ extraordinaire Green Lantern for their 3rd "Turn Off The Radio" Mixtape which they're calling "Pulse Of The People".... I have here the powerful single from said mixtape, "Stimulus Plan"; a joint that finds Stic man and M-1 in familiar territory, exposing the hypocrisy of the American monetary system and how hard it can be to come up in this country. Over Green's head snapping and diverse production Dead Prez speaks on the scheme that the American working class and poor folks are currently embroiled in.
