Try your best to ignore the painfully woeful attempt at a cohesive verse by Jim Jones and get into one of my fav. records of all time blaring brightly as the sample source...Yes, that's right, "Wishing On A Sucker MC" boasts Joseph Simmons goin' off over Rose Royce's 1978 hit "Wishing On A Star". Lead singer Rose Norwalt's beautiful vocals cascading wonderfully over another excellent sample (who can guess that drum break?) that Rev Run actually helped produce too...

Really, not a bad record at all...
