Inspectah Deck's protege Fes Taylor Hits us with one of his best and latest efforts in Taylor Made. Fes has earned the reputation as one of the hardest working Wu-Tang affiliates out there and one of the most promising new artists from Staten Island along with JoJo Pellegrino. Fes has a great ear for beats and this CD is no exception, I don't know if he recruited any Wu-Tang affiliated producer's for this venture, but some of the joints definitely had a dope and updated Wu-Tang sound, complete with those dirty drums and neck snapping snares. Fes is a great writer and before I heard this I really never understood all the hype surrounding his releases, but now I completely understand. Not only does he put out decent shit, he's a work horse, and he drops decent shit all the time. I look forward to his new album that's on the horizon, tentatively titled "T-2". Til' then he's got plenty of street material out there for everyone to check out, so make sure to do so, he's a worthwhile NYC artist being brought up in the game by a legend in Deck, much in the same way the NFL used to bring along good young QB's, by letting the wiley old vet school em'. You don't see that a lot anymore man, and with artist development quickly becoming a thing of the past, we should all enjoy and support Fes taylor.
