News: Jay Electronica Says New Album Is Complete

Apparently the on-going absence of one of Hip-Hop's bright new stars hasn't been all in vain..

Jay Electronica broke the news yesterday that his debut record on Roc Nation, "Act II: The Patent Of Nobility", is in fact complete and only a hand full of people (Bun B, Jeymes Samuel, Jay-Z and his uber talented wifey Erykah Badu) have heard the LP in it's entirety.

While there is still no official release date for the album, Jay Elec promises that it's well on it's way. Whether you believe that is certainly on you but I for one am willing to wait. We've seen what happens when overly hyped artists microwave bake their debuts...and not to say that jay ain't worth the hype, he can rhyme his ass off, but he's also a guy that does a lot of travelling and a lot of reflecting...I think his best stuff will be on this album and he wants it put out correctly.
