New one off the forthcoming release from the Beats & Rhymes Records compilation "Stereo Bytes Volume 2" that features Sean P and the gruff voiced QB prodcut known as Big Twinz.
Great hardcore rhymin' going on and the production suits the two's barrage of bruising rhymes.
The whoel compilation is actually sounding pretty tuff, and if you want you can peep the snippets here, joints feature names like Joell Ortiz, C.L. Smooth and Butta Verses.

I hadn't seen a a video by him in a minute, but he hasn't lost his touch, blessing Three The Hard Way AKA Meth, Ghostface and Raekwon with some stunningly ghetto fabulous imagery...Don't be fooled by the 1st 40 seconds or so, that grusomeness transforms quickly into beautiful women and an enthralling story.
This is actually the 2nd time we've been privelidged enough to get a peek into MP's process of crafting a beat, and as usual the chain smoking Canadian doesn't disappoint and is more than forthcoming in breaking down his methods of production....

Let's head out west to the streets of L.A. for a great (and I mean that) examination of what America's problem really is, given to us by Murs, Sick Jacken, Uncle Chucc and 9th Wonder.
There are few vids that will drop this year within Hip-Hop that will relay consciousness, reality and thought like this...it's a great record and the vid is just as dope. Hats off to Uncle Chucc, you killed that hook brutha.

219 Yes, 212 No, was the final vote tally as Democrats in the House of Representatives passed through a piece of legislation that surely is a step in the right direction for the health care crisis that has gripped this country for some time now...
"It wasn't an easy vote, but it was the right vote.." commented President Obama, who addressed the nation late Sunday evening.
So what does this mean in the long run? Apparently this reform has the chance to lower the cost of higher education and even create some new jobs while simultaneously helping insure that 32 million Americans have access to affordable health care. Sounds good to D O, lord knows my life is being directly affected on all 3 fronts...but of course, there's a host of so-called "Americans" that for some reason think all that progress I just mentioned is a bad thing.
In some good news (I hope) it appears that Atlanta's long reigning king of originality and IMO emceeing, AKA Big Boi has inked a fresh new deal with the storied Hip-Hop label Def Jam Records.
While Def Jam certainly isn't the same label that it was back when in it's hay days of the late 80's and 90's, it's still a force in mainstream urban music (barf) and I'm pretty sure Big Boi is about to get broke off with a proper advance and some decent promotion for his new album; the much anticipated "Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty".
The signing also marks a reunion of sorts with Big Boi rejoining his old LaFace Records boss L.A. Reid, who is now the head honcho over at Def Jam (R.I.P. Shakir Stewart), and who oversaw the release of all 5 of Outkast's studio albums.
4 2 more days til' we get Ruste and MP's "The eXXecution" record and in the meantime and in between time, Juxx and MP are gonna give us the "Pre-eXXecution" AKA 13 video freestyles in as many days, leading up to the album's release on the 23rd...
I'mma just say this...."The eXXecution" is one hell of a record, maybe just as nice or better than MP and Torae's "Double Barrel".

The story behind this promo is that it contains an absolutely bangin track that I guess won't be included on either one of the new releases...Wow...

Today via his Bandcamp site, producer Dela dropped a new, 9 track beat tape that is his ode to Robert Gasper's incredibly bold, tour de force of an album; "In My Element". If you've never heard the Houston based, Grammy nominated, Jazz pianist's work, than please, please do yaself the favor and go purchase the 2007 album that was released on the famed (and well known to all Jazz hounds) Blue Note label. It's truly a one of a kind piece of music and has a special Hip-Hop slant to it...
As for this project, Dela continues to astound, not only with his arrangements, but with his sample sources. Apparently Dela stumbled across Glasper's music as he was casually talking business w/ a friend in a Paris record store...
Not surprisingly Dela has re-worked many of the album's tracks into even more soulful pieces of musical goodness.
Another leak off that new CNN album people, and it looks like Victor Santiago and Kiam Holley are ready to finally make that gem of an album that we've all been waiting on since "The Reunon" and in some cases really, their debut....
Crazy beat on this, I think I'll label it's sound modern, electro hardcore...LOL...
More crazy is the fact that Nore has been putting together his best verses in quite awhile, the previous joint leaked; "Thug Planet", was also a pretty positive look for the longtime duo...
Here's hoping that the album lives up to what we've recieved so far...it's your single of the weekend kiddies...
