DJ Diggz And DJ Rated R - Potent Product Pt. 10

I'm a big DJ Diggz and Rated R mixtape fan, and I always check for their stuff whenever they drop somethin new on us. Their latest series is called Potent Product and while the series is kind of extensive, it really didn't start to dazzle until about Pt. 8 or so. I'm kind of disappointed because these two have gone from being straight up hardcore mixtape DJ's who only played street shit and jam packed their tapes with 40 joints, to guys that have really just started playing what everyone else does. This tape does have some really ill joints that prolly won't see much mainstream love like "The Grind Dont Stop" from Godfather pt.3 and "Where U At" by St. Laz and Pottersfield, but they also threw on some real uncharacteristic joints too. There are two tracks from Max B., SMH...someone who really has no place on a Diggz/Rated R tape, and Lil' Wayne managed to score a slot on here too, which is beyond me....I truly hope that these two aren't moving toward becoming more mainstream, the whole reason I started fuckin wit their tapes was because they had the shit no one else did and it was from hardcore underground cats that don't put much shit out. I've heard that Diggz is actually about to release an album and I have some of the same worries about it, but hopefully he'll keep it 100, and stick to the formula that got him where he's at. Give us the hardcore man, we don't need more Lil' Wayne and Max B. stuff, them two are already on every other bad mixtape that isn't worth checking out, just stick to the script.
