You'll recognize the sample used on "Stick Up Muzic" as it's been recycled over and again many times, nevertheless it's still utilized in a new and ill way here. One thing you might not recognize however is the dumbed down flow of what used to be the most original emcee ever, your favorite Wu member beginning his verse singing and a relative newcomer somewhat outshining both veterans with a skill set that has always been pretty pedestrian.
While I don't necessarily think "Stick Up Muzic" overall is a bad track, I'm happy that it's not going to be included on Rae's upcoming (crosses fingers) "Only Built For Cuban Linx II" album....In fact I think this cut is off of Rae's new mixtape promoting the follow up to his classic debut...last I checked I think that's [the mixtape] gonna be called "The Chef's Bloody Apron" or something.....We've been waiting around on that for awhile too...
