We all should be more aware of the white washing that takes place in this country as it pertains to who we are as people...Blacks and Latinos are beautiful in their natural state, but lately I've seen throngs of us opting for fairer skin thru certain soaps, lighter colored hair thru dying, sheeit, I even see less of a celebration of who we are from within in some cases....Many of us have stopped being fiercely proud of who we are and have started opting to conform to something else...something that we know ain't us...
It's things like what I just mentioned that are why joints like this one from Jelani are so important...listen up...this brutha has something to say...
