8thW1 - LoveMoneyAndMusic

From his latching production to his cogitative lyric's, newcomer 8thW1 maintains a grasping hold of his audience on "LoveMoneyAndMusic". The dualisticly talented Garden State native dropped the heavily lauded and criminally overlooked LP last year and amazed quite a few heads with his un-flinching devotion to it's theme and his underground, yet unpretentious delivery.

A true throwback to earlier and better times in Hip-Hop emceeing, 8thW1 draws comparisons to such groundbreaking and influential modern acts as Lupe Fiasco, but in reality he is a performing entity all his own that has successfully found a way to relay the good ole' aesthetics of a culture while simultaneously keeping his true identity firmly implanted. Reminiscent of when Sosa said to Tony, "There is no lying in you", I find myself seeing eye to eye with 8th and the main topic of his album over and again due to both of their honest and undisguised outlook's...

With production help from names like Illmind, Manamana, Dom & 8thW1 himself ("Fresh"), gratify ya hard drive and swoop "LoveMoneyAndMusic" rite quick....
