DJ Eclipse - Rap Is Outta Control (6/7/09)

Every Sunday night on Sirius Satellite Radio DJ Eclipse, the same man that gets down with Premo on his Live From Headquarterz show and the host of the much famed WNYU "Halftime Show" brings you the illest underground and hardcore joints from around the world of Hip-Hop.....

This past Sunday was no exception as Eclipse was back on Sirius XM and brought forth a bevy of new goodies for his loyal listeners who stayed up to catch the broadcast. Seeing as how last week Dilla dropped his new LP, Eclipse hooked up a phone interview with Ma Dukes and played a good deal of Dilla produced cuts and a few joints from the new "Jay Stay Paid" LP. Another highlight last Sunday was Eclipse playing a few of the new joints off of DJ JS-1's new album....All I can say about that is Fat Beats will be receiving an order for that on my behalf post haste!

There is no better DJ show right now than Rap Is Outta Control. No disrespect to Tony Touch, Premo, Marley Marl and others, but mix sets like this prove Eclipse is still waaaay ahead of the curve in his song selection and overall format ideas....He keeps it simple, and he keeps it correct.

If you don't have Satellite XM radio you can still catch Eclipse on his "Halftime Show" every Wednesday night on 89.1 WNYU FM from 10:30PM to 1AM EST and if your not in NY you can listen online on WNYU's website....Everyone else be sure to tune in on Sundays from 10-12 on the Sirius Satelite XM Hip Hop Nation channel for the "Rap Is Outta Control" show....
