Single: Ghostface, Inspectah Deck & AZ - Harbor Masters

Now this is some of that good ole' Wu sound! I've Been waitin for these cats to really bring they shit out like this for awhile and now I'm happy to say that we all are on the brink of getting exactly what we've been clamoring for....But I'll get back to that in a second....

With the assistance of AZ the first single for the new Wu-Tang album has surfaced. "Harbor Masters" utilizes a soulful and yet gritty drum loop sample and emphasizes the intense lyrical wordplay that's thrown around between three of NY's all-time greatest emcees who grace the track. AZ and ghost dial in precisely and really capture the theme of what I think the song is all about. Meanwhile Deck adds a nice flow and movement to things...The three New Yawk emcee's fall into their old rhythm better than Bill Bradley, "Pearl" Monroe and Clyde Frazier, seamlessly transporting you back to that glorious time capsule of the mid nineties when east coast rap was done correctly...

I see that this new "Wu-Tang Chamber Music" jumpoff is gonna be ill and mainly I draw that conclusion from "Harbor Masters" being so insanely good....with promises of new material from all 9 original members, a break from the experimental sound of "8 Diagrams" as well as Rza going back to his production roots, one can only imagine the possibilities for the new album....And I'm still hearing rumors about another project that supposedly will have DJ Absolut putting out a new mixtape of unreleased Wu material from back in the day. Combined with Rae's upcoming "Cuban Linx II" this should be one of the illest summers yet when it comes to dope Hip-Hop....
