Video: Brother Ali - Good Lord

I'm probably gonna be outta the office for most of the day today, but before I go I thought I'd hit you with another piece of new goodness that comes via Rhymesayers and in the form of a new and moving (literally) vid from Brother Ali. Directed by the best new up and coming video man out there Rik Cordero and shot at the legendary Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Center in Harlem, NY (the same place the great X was killed) "Good Lord" is a testament to how well Ali relates life, religion and just overall infectious music in real time and among a glowing audience that reflects my most sought after fantasies of multiformity at a Hip-Hop show.....

The footage itself is remarkable and uplifting. Ali gets the diverse young crowd going while simultaneously kicking much knowledge. Keep your eyes sharp there are a host of luminaries that were in the building that night, from the Tribe's Ali Shaheed Muhammed to popmaster Fable of The World Famous Rock Steady Crew and a host of the Muslim world's most renowned activist's and speakers.

Great video and a great way for you to get your Monday started....Peace to all of you or should I say "as-salam alaykum" ya'll....
