Over the weekend a true legend in the world of Music, Solomon Burke; one of the originators and innovators of that sweet soul music died in Amsterdam's Schipol airport. He was 70 years old.
This man was great, and Hip-Hop heads should pay him many respects, much of his music was interpolated and sampled into ours and to my knowledge Burke never had any qualms about that...If you need a refresher on Burke's great life Clark Collis over at EW.com just wrote a great piece on it...do check it out.
He lives on forever in his music.
