Showbiz & A.G. - Broken Chains

Yeah, it's April and I'm hitting the ground running.....I've been working a lot lately so I finished March up with relatively few gems for ya'll and stuck religiously to my motto of not putting up so much stuff that was recent retail. I'm gonna break my promise a lil' bit here by putting up something that is just too dope not to....Showbiz and A.G. define the mid 90's NY sound and together released a couple of legendary LP's. While the constant clamoring for them to do somethin new has supposedly yielded that ever elusive follow up to "Live Hard", for the most part, besides a few appearances on that drab new D.I.T.C. album and a mixtape (A.G.'s "Get Dirty Radio") the two have been relatively quiet.

Now, almost out of nowhere and thanks to some uncovered master recordings, the fans have "Broken Chains"; a vinyl release of a bunch of recording sessions that were done by Show and A around the era of "Soul Clap" and "Runaway Slave" (1990-1992). What more could you ask for? Your getting 3 of their classic joints in their original versions and 2 previously unreleased songs as well as a bevy of instrumentals.....We're all still waiting for the new material, there's no denying that, but sometimes going back into the past can be oh so sweet. Be sure to peep the Party Arty appearance....R.I.P.
