News: Details On New MF Doom Album Due Out In March

Looks like Rae, Ghost and Kurious Jorge will all be making appearances on the new Doom album, that the super villain of rap is calling "Born Like This". His first solo effort in half a decade, All of us Hip-Hop nerds will be anticipating this more than Rihanna was an icepack last night....

Pretty standard stuff for a Doom joint...nothing too out of the ordinary, and that's a good thing.....I'm really just happy that he's not starting to compromise or sellout his signature "herbal" style or drive to be a dope underground artist....this looks like it'll be a solid 18 track album with a limited amount of (dope) guests, which is refreshing in the manner that that's how real emcee's used to make their albums....*sigh* .......Doom has lined up Jake One and Madlib to hand in a couple of beats to add to his own. I'm sure all production on this is gonna be pretty ill.

let's see....we all have heard the charmingly titled "Ballskin", if you haven't then scroll back a few pages....or better yet use the search feature in the upper left hand corner...jesus, if I get another email about how to find so and so's album on here......uhhh, but what else.....I see a track titled "Lightworks" and I have to wonder whether that's the same "Lightworks" beat that Busta Rhymes dropped something over for that "Dillagence" tape he put out. Couple of other titles ring an interest..."Rap Ambush" and "Microwave Mayo" leading the pack on that front.....

This new effort is gonna be kinda weird in a way though....I mean, we've all gotten so accustomed to hearing Doom doing projects with other cats....gonna be interesting to see, or hear rather, how he does just on his own after awhile. Either way here's the skinny on what's to come in the next few weeks in preparation for "Born Like This"...right down to the Magazine features comin'....
