Tom Carauna Presents Wu-Tang Vs. The Beatles: Enter The Magical Mystery Chambers

Q) Whaddya get when you cross Tom Caruana beats with Wu-Tang acapellas and Beatles samples?

A) An ill ass remix album, that's what kiddies....

If your new to the Caruana name lemme give ya a brief rundown of the UK beatmaker's background: He makes nasty ass tracks and releases dope music on his label Tea Sea Records that he started back in 2005...nuff said? I think so...

Ingeniously taking the same formula that Danger Mouse used for his Jay-Z "Black Album" ("The White Album") remixes, Carauna samples a bevy of Beatles records and pairs those beats with what seems like every available Wu acapella out there to forge the unforgettable sound contained on "Enter The Magical Mystery Chambers". His efforts are stunning.

This is literally one of the best remix efforts I've ever heard and one of the finer ones ever done with Wu vocals...period. Some of the stuff is just so insane! Couple of things that must be mentioned: ODB singing along to "Love Me Do" on track 13, the "Release Yo Self", "Run" and "City High" remixes and all the insanely cool skits and soundbites. The Clan didn't even sound this good on they last two albums damnit! Thanks to Carauna's complex and warm production the pairing of these two iconic (and that's an understatement) groups goes down correct. Nothing sounds forced, everything is situated interestingly, the skits are well thought out and there's a grip of material.

On a side note, if your like me and were somewhat taken by the cover art for this, your photographic memory is just nudging you...it was actually done by famed illustrator an artist Logan Walters, who's added his own personal touch to the Wu before...
