A host of respectable names in the Hip-Hop world of blogging and websites including Okayplayer.com have come together to bring us Illmind's "Official Remix Album".
A nice helping and display of the NJ native's ample talent, this remix project is something to marvel at. While all of us producers sit back in awe of Illmind's abilities the casual fan will appreciate his knack for sample based production that hints of the ol' school aesthetics, but simultaneously also sounds very modern.
You'll find Ill mixing it up with a wide array of artist's here; from Jay-Z to Brandy, Saigon to En Vogue...his diversity shines through. I appreciate wholeheartedly how he's able to finesse R&B tracks with the same touch as the hardcore Hip-Hop stuff and still maintain his core sound...
This is a good one, comes complete with 4 exclusive new cuts from Ill's group Fortlive as well....
