Video: Kev Brown Live Beat @ Fat Beats Los Angeles 1/03/10

The 2nd illest producer from the DMV area AKA Kev Brown, recently was out in La La land on the 3rd and had I not been traveling back home from the 213 I def. woulda made the time to stroll down to Fat Beats and peep this performance out...

Committing my ultimate sampling sin Snatching up some random record based on it's cover and proceeding to flip it for the people that gathered around to watch, we get to see just how Kev puts together a joint...

I guess it took him about 1 hour and 30 minutes to construct the final product, which is good time trust me...It takes me anywhere from 2 to 3 hours to get something going usually, but then again I'm a record snob much more pinpointing type of digger and I'm still evolving as a producer, whereas Kev def. has found his sound and his process to create it...

At the end Kev lets a cat from the audience jump up and get his rhyme on (which he does well actually) to the new beat...Hopefully we get to hear that joint somewhere down the line on one of Kev's new projects...
