Earlier tonight none other than DJ Stretch Armstrong and Eli Escobar were up on their usual show The Delancey Music service doing something out of the usual by straight bombin' kids with a bunch of rare Hip-Hop demos that never saw an official release from the 80's and 90's...That's right, if you didn't know Stretch plays a really different type of music these days and more often than not that's what you'll catch him rockin' wit on Monday nights. But tonight we caught him giving us some serious flashbacks to his glory days at WKCR.
Despite having expanded his musical tastes and stylings, Stretch is still known for having stuff like this layin' around in bulk. While I've heard many of these cuts before I know a lot of ya'll are definitely in for a major treat if you've ever wondered what acts like Mobb Deep, Jay-Z and The Artifacts sounded like before they got on a major...
Also included: rare gems from Public Enemy, LL Cool J ("Jack The Ripper" Demo), Wu-Tang Clan, Rampage and a very dope live performance from Biz Markie and Big Daddy Kane...
