Single: Dres (Of Black Sheep) - Forever Luvlee

Brand new, new, new joint from Dres, one half (and now sole member) of the 90's duo The Black Sheep...

If your too young to remember who exactly this brother is, he along with Mista Lawnge were two kids from Queens, NY who relocated to North Click, linked up musically and started making some some dope, highly intelligent Hip-Hop. Eventually they also became apart of the Native Tongues affiliation gob and their debut album "A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing", would go on to be widely considered (by yours truly as well) a classic LP.

I always dug the positive themes within Dres' rhymes as well as his unique delivery, really dope to see him re-emerging. The last we heard from him and Lawnge was in 2006 when they released "8WM/Novakane", an album that flew waaay under the radar and saw lawnge leave the group just before it was released.

Today we got Dres droppin' a jazzy, head snappin' joint titled "Forever Luvlee" on our heads, a single that I'mma go ahead and say kills 100% of the other joints I've posted this month.

As Dres lets you know in the beginning of the track via a drop, "Forever Luvlee" is off his new EP Project "The Black Pool Of Genius" due out later this month. In another drop later on he also lets us know that "The Black Pool Of Genius" LP is due in the Spring of 2010...Can't wait for either one, good to have this man back out on the scene.
