The former DJ who started his career at the tender young age of 15 on many a London pirate radio station would go on to be best known for his 1988 "Bullet From a Gun" LP as well as for working alongside Eric B and Rakim at one point.

His success was widely renowned in London and the UK, and he released three charting hits in the late 80's titled "Get Down", "Rock The Beat" and "Bad Young Brother" that vaulted him to superstar status.

Is it true that after his music career he was sent to prison for burglary? That's what I heard, but it was in the times before the Internet, so was probably just people talking bullshit for the sake of it.
