EA Sports NBA Live Mixtape Mixed by DJ Mick Boogie

As foreshadowed by some of the really ill music that was dropped in anticipation for this, the whole package of NBA Live's soundtrack is dope...Well, for the most part anyway. Please excuse the Colin Monroe, Laza and David Banner tracks....

As far as video game soundtracks go, this, in my humble opinion is one of the best ever assembled....Kudos EA Sports developers and production managers your officially putting out game soundtracks that are better than 90% of the stuff serious Hip-Hop labels put out and call real albums.

I know they're labeling this a mixtape, don't be confused, these are simply the tracks that are contained on the actual NBA Live video game while you play.

By now most people have heard the best joints on this (The PR and De La tracks) courtesy of blogs like mine, so I'll spare you. Just dive in and see what you like, but honestly if your like me you'll be able to discern pretty quick what you want and don't want outta this...

Guided by Mick Boogie things on here are pretty explanatory; a bunch of new music from a lot of worthy artists and Some good production in splashes. The undertones of basketball references aren't too overdone and none of the songs are outright corny "b-ball jams" aimed at hyping a high school crowd while their team does pre-game lay up lines....

The actual game is in stores now so be sure to pick that up if that's your thing.
