News: Method Man Arrested On Tax Evasion Charges

Following an arrest today in his native Staten Island, Wu-Tang clansmen and much-celebrated solo artist Method Man who's govt. name is Clifford Smith was set to be arraigned on serious charges of tax-evasion.

Meth turned himself in early this morning in the midst of Staten Island district attorney Daniel Donovan making statements like he would ensure that the emcee is "aggressively investigated and prosecuted". Perhaps for good reason as well.

Meth is charged with 2 counts of tax evasion and allegedly has failed to pay the IRS $33,000 dollars between 2004 and 2007, not including the penalties and fees that have accrued as well. Damn Meth....

This last March the financially embattled MC made news around the web when his Lincoln Navigator was very publicly seized by the federal government. Rumors about him being in debt worse than Floyd Mayweather started flying around, while Johnny Blaze attempted to quell the storm with loose statements about how he wasn't broke, just a bad sorter of his own mail. Uh huh...sure enough the other shoe has landed half a year later and the Ticallion Stallion now faces up to 4 years in prison if convicted.
