News: Shyne To Be Released Today?

It would seem that today is the fateful day that one time up and coming Bad Boy artist Jamal "Shyne" Barrow is due to regain his freedom.

Back in August there were subtle reminders that Shyne's 8 year sentence, handed down back in 2001 for his reckless behavior inside a NYC night club, would soon be drawing to a close.

Having served his time in such New York State correctional institutions as Rikers Island, Woodburne and finally Clinton Max, Shyne, who changed his legal name to Moses Leviy a few years back after a conversion to Judaism, is prepared to return to the rap game upon his release. Reportedly he's already had offers from Def Jam, Death Row and Roc Nation.
