DJ Black Bill Gates & Stat Quo Present The Status Report

The man who once upon a time I dubbed the "most lyrical" southern rapper since Scarface or Andre 3000 is back with another new mixtape...

Stat Quo has been mired with a long list of setbacks that have seen him bounce from label to label since he busted onto the scene in 2004. At first apart of a burgeoning Shady Records roster, then another addition to the ever growing list of Aftermath artist's that never dropped and now supposedly set to finally release an upcoming "Street album" via EMI before he puts out his long awaited "Statlanta" Album. It's been a busy 2009 for Mr. Benton too, having dropped 3 free mixtapes ("Quo City", "Checks & Balance", and "The Invisible Man") for the masses completely free....

make it a fourth...

Now releasing the fittingly titled "Status Report", we once again get to enjoy Stat's unique brand of southern lyricism and hear what exactly he's been up to this past year.
