R.I.P. Big L

May 30, 1974 – February 15, 1999

11 years ago today the undisputed king of Harlem and one of the best MC's I've ever heard had his life violently ripped from him in his native Harlem. Since then and even before that the special skill and gift that he wielded effortlessly in his music has marvelled millions.

Whether on 139th Street & Lennox Avenue or all the way in China we remember his greatness today and forever.
