Ten years ago tomorrow, the greatest Latino MC and one of the of all time greatest MC's period, met with his earthly demise at the tender young age of 28...

I remember the news breaking vividly that day. He passed on due to health complications concerning his weight; something that had nagged him for the better part of his adult life. It's almost as if that day when Pun's heart failed, a piece of the culture was suddenly ripped away prematurely.

We still miss Chris Rios and while Hip-Hop continues to reel unrelentingly from losing him far to quickly, we honor his memory and the massive amounts of people he touched through his music is our reminder of his prolific rise.
