Video Interview: Pharoahe Monch Talks W/ Dante Ross

Longtime industry insider and former label operator Dante Ross catches up with Queens legend Pharoahe Monch at the Pro-Keds station @ SXSW and asks him a number of pressing questions that his fans have been wanting to know for a minute...

Amongst his answers are when his new album on Duck Down Records will drop and the meaning behind it's Acronym title and that he's been working with Prince Po again recently.

Also included: who'll be featured on the album producing and how Monch feels about NY rappers goin down south...

Dante:

"I always thought Monch and OK were outstanding. His level of rapping was light years ahead of most and still is. Once upon a time I tried to sign Monch to my label Stimulated but he got away. I always wondered if Loud the machine that was my distributor at the time would have gotten behind Simon Sez would he have gotten the recognition he deserved."

Big time co-sign on most of that...big time...

"W.A.R." is tentatively slated for release on July 21st.
