It's Tuesday so inevitably that means new J.Period! Today the multi-talented DJ/producer releases the third installment of his "The Messengers" mixtape series with Somali Hip-Hop poet sensation K'Naan. In episode 3 none other than the pride of Hibbing, Minnesota, Blind Boy Grunt himself, Bob Dylan is the man and musical life that the two Hip-Hop impresarios have chosen to highlight. The magnificently outspoken and political voice of American counter culture and a fixture in popular music for over 5 decades has his music remixed, re-done and re-visited by K'Naan and Period with the same spirit and fervor that would surely make the "Freewheelin'" one smile....
