The one time Graff writer/artist and northern Cali native Veterano started DJing and producing around the age of 17 and has grown into a role as one of the premier beatsmiths on the left coast.

Versatile and highly rooted in classic hardcore stylings of his late 90's predecessors, through his arrangements Veterano boasts intense samples coupled with emotional keys and strings providing the perfect sound bed for some of the truly talented lyrical killers that appear.

Hosted by west coast legend Ras Kass, "Latest & Greatest" runs through Veterano's most recent and celebrated bangers and finds contemporary Hip-Hop pulp poets like Nino Bless, Grafh, Cassidy, Chace Infinite, Kam Moye and Rob G, to name a few, going in and ripping apart Vet's graphic beats. Highlights include the sinister Kool G Rap jumpoff "The Block Is Hot" and the Planet Asia and Chace Infinite homage to fast talking jacks of all trades everywhere in "Hustlers Anthem". Ras contributes some exclusive material on here that's noteworthy in his collab with Nino Bless "Sparta", but leaves you hangin' on the hosting tip, only adding annoying sponser drops....In that spirit I'mma take this moment to let all of you know that Stash Mag AKA the guys who helped Veterano put this tape out are on the forefront of covering legit west coast Hip-Hop artists and their mag is overall one of the stronger publications in the urban landscape of print media.
