News: 9th Wonder To Co-Teach Duke University Course

Man, talk about being one of my this new generation's better role models and more enlightened people...

Producer extraordinaire 9th Wonder continues to dabble in instructing college level students, but this time it won't be at North Carolina Central University (where he was once a student and more recently taught a class on Hip-Hop history), but rather in Durham, N.C.'s more well known institution of higher learning, Duke University.

The 34 yr. old Winston-Salem native has been tapped by professor of black popular culture in the Department of African & African American Studies Mark Anthony Neal, to assist in "Sampling Soul", a course that will focuses on music from the Civil Rights and Black Power movements.

When asked about the new opportunity 9th AKA Patrick Douthit said “I’m excited man, it’s a new frontier for me. I’m always excited for new frontiers”...

Man, right on brutha 9th, right on...nuff respect
