La Coka Nostra - The Audacity Of Coke Mixtape

The LCN boys throw us their new Mixtape effort "The Audacity Of Coke", that I've been semi-hypin the past few days on Purehip-hop....It's title is a keen play on the caption of the President's best seller "The Audacity Of Hope", but make no mistake, this ain't no quaint political memoir....this is that raw dope kids....

Complete with the blessings of Ill Bill's regular man on the wheels of steel, DJ Eclipse and the Bean Town production/DJ phenom Statik Selektah both handling the mix, the 6 man crew comprised of Everlast, Ill Bill, Slaine, Big Left, Danny Boy and DJ Lethal draw their influences from Hip-Hop's hardcore, gangsta rap antiquity.

Sporting mostly black clothing with gold and platinum chains their reprisal of the classic hardcore group characteristic's takes you back to the stylings of N.W.A. and Death Row.....Their lyrical content is sharp and unabridged, filled with over the top candor as well as radical political intrigue and stunning theories. all layered nicely over hardcore production and a few rightly picked instrumentals that make this tape the surefire, most-for-your-memory, download of the week....

For this go round the La Coka soldiers collab with Vinne Paz, Snoop Dogg, Special Teamz, Bun B, U-God, Raekwon, Crooked I, William Cooper (Black market Militia) and B-Real, a list of very capable guests that all indefinitely add to the mix....

LCN's official album "A Brand You Can Trust" is in stores on the 14th, go get that people....
