PH (formerly Pumpkinhead) - My Era No Skinny Jeans Allowed

New mixtape from the man formerly known to us all as Pumpkinhead, who now is going by "PH" for short I guess.....The Park Slope, Brooklyn MC and one third of the trio Brooklyn Academy has offered up a new mix that's available free to his fans presented by MCMI & 2dopeboyz blog....

Of course the first thing you notice when you scan the cover design is the straight forward attack on the hipster invasion of Hip-Hop and their ambiguous and overtly effeminate dress code. I say good for you PH, let em' know what time it is....

"My Era" boasts a number of notable guest spots from talented underground newcomers like Sha Stimuli, Donny Goines and Homeboy Sandman as well as some more seasoned vets that we always check for in Punchline and Shabaam Sahdeeq. I found this enjoyable and the fact that PH and company rock over nuthin but classic instrumentals is a definite selling point....
