The incomparable Japanese DJ/producer known across the world as DJ Honda has returned stateside after a bit of a hiatus to release the first single off his new "IV" album, the fourth volume of the undeniably ill Honda compilations....
Much like the cuts on the previous "I", "II" and "III" albums, "Another Day" is a slice of Hip-Hop purity, un-blemished by a talented producer's half-witted attempts at rhyming or silly style experimentation...With Honda you always know what your getting, and his track record shows, that would be an solid beat based on the fundamental foundations and one or more hardcore MC's firing away....
Despite being perhaps a bit unknown outside of NYC, The Kid Daytona and Jugnot put a solid foot forward on here, delivering universal material. "IV" is sure to be filled with tons of bangers just like "Another Day" and as a fan of Honda's that picked up every American release he's dropped I truly can't wait.
