Lee Bannon - Me & Marvin

Sac town producer Lee Bannon drops a nice new theme project on us titled "Me & Marvin" that overtly reminds all you bickering MJ and Elvis saps that no matter whom you thought was the "King", the legendary Marvin Pentz Gaye isn't at all too far away from that coveted throne himself.

Pairing his capable rhyming skills with 8 tracks he crafted that sample the late, great crooner's unmistakable tenor vocals, Bannon creates albeit an ephemeral effort, but certainly one that is decisively worth the brief listen.

Far from some predictable, garden variety slew of samples with rushed rhymes imposed over them, Bannon's talent and labor is on full display. Through these superb pieces and his concentrated work, "Me & Marvin" becomes a more paramount experience with every new audit.
