Singles: Ras Kass - A Game, Amazing & Mike Jacks (Ras Kass Quarterly Series)

After recent news that somewhat embattled MC & lyrical force Ras Kass was gonna start slowing up his musical output to perhaps pursue other things in his life (most notably a college degree), the legendary and often unpredictable Carson, CA native seemingly has performed an about face...again...lol...It's all good by me however, I never wanted Ras to step away from the game, just wanted him to start making thet type of music he was on his first few albums....

In any case, Razzy has launched "Ras Kass Quarterly"; a series that follows in the footsteps of Crooked I's "Hip-Hop Weekly" and Freeway's "Month Of Madness", that will see him release a new song every 7 days, developing the album that goes by the same title....We're supposed to also get a mixtape at the conclusion of the series too, but we'll have to wait and see, one never really knows with Ras....

The most recent song in the series is "A Game", and it was released earlier today, and while I'm no huge fan of the production that Ras keeps settling on, there is some unmistakable flashes of that old lyrical force of his here and there....

I've also included the previous two songs Ras dropped as well.....

"Mike Jacks", which is a great lil' tribute to the late Michael Jackson's sampled catalog that kicked "Ras Kass Quarterly" off, and the Veterano produced "Amazing", that features the sultry backup vocals of Neenah and is the nicest and most well rounded joint he's dropped for the "Quarterly" collection thus far....
