Single: Bishop Lamont ft. Xzibit - Hallelujah (prod. by Dr. Dre)

Back to give the Hip-Hop world some new religion is none other than Dre protege Bishop Lamont...

Over Dre's crisp keys, a gospel chorus and a slapping snare drum Lamont disputes the state of Hip-Hop, challenging artists not to be "slaves" or succumb to the numerous pitfalls known to engulf many a rapper in Hollywood....the message is simple, you know the devil when you hear him, so refute him!!...lol...

With Xzibit over the chorus that area is in check, and while he delivers a more than solid performance I will admit him not kickin a verse was a lil' disappointing....

No official word about whether this is going on Bishop's upcoming album or Detox...I would have to assume that it's not the latter though...Dre has been keepin' everything from that record well in tow...shiiiet, we only got like 3 seconds of a beat that's supposedly on Detox in that Dr. Pepper ad, and even that joint's validity as being a real cut off the album is up in the air....Either way this is a good look from Lamont who was beginning to fall a bit off the radar..
