The man formerly known as Sharlok Poems of L.A. Symphony has returned with a new stage name and the first really ill single for his new album "Black & Read All Over"...

Now going by Sareem Poems, the lyrical and enigmatic MC gives us "Lower The Boom", an upbeat and soulful announcement to all colors and creeds that Poems is here once again to give you his uniquely bias west coast perspective.....

Poems recruits his former L.A. Symphony band mate Pigeon John, the production skills of Scribbling Idiots' Theory Hazit and former Jurassic 5 member Akil all to contribute....

There's supposed to also be a remix version of "Lower The Boom" coming soon from Oddisee(who's also featured on the album) that will feature Kenn Starr, I'll put that up for ya'll when it happens....

Sareem's new album "Black & Read All Over" drops on the 28th via Mello Music Group....
