Markey grew up around the very foundation of Hip-Hop in the Bronx and once handed legendary DJ Kool Red Alert a demo tape and had it played on the radio for well over a year...a real rap vet indeed. There's no concrete source confirming it yet, but word is that Markey passed on due to a stroke.
