Tommorrow, even in despite of the facts that as a nation we're mired knee deep in a faltering economy, trapped w/o an exit plan from a war that was predicated on bullshit and witnesses to the sheer debauchery a corporation has wrecked on our gulf coast, we will celebrate a holiday. I've never been one much for "national" holidays or observances, but considering that this July 4th we're getting a new mixtape full of brand new bangers from The Away Team (Sean Boog & Khrysis), even I will be forced to loosen up a bit.
Teaming up with longtime WNYU radio personality DJ Eclipse to handle the mix duties, Sean Boog narrates a bevy of The Away Team's newest cuts and freestyles as well as some memorable favorites from them ("Come On Down" has been my joint for years now). As usual Khrysis remains one of he tuffest beat makers around and Sean captivates in his heartfelt bars. Do peep this out...and yeah, happy 4th of July I guess...
