Combining the sensuous vocals of New York City Jazz and R&B singer Sylvia Stiplin with those of perhaps the big apple's coldest rhymer of all time and one of New Jersey's west coast transplants who embodied underground Hip-Hop emceeing at one point, well you just may have something....
In 1981 Striplin released an album titled "Give Me Your Love", that is mostly noted by Hip-Hop heads as containing the sample source for Junior Mafia's "Get Money", in "You Can't Turn Me Away" . Today, resident T.R.O.Y. blend guru Vaporized has given some more new life to Striplin's 30 year old release by blending it's music with the bruising lyrics of Kool G Rap and Chino XL.
Here's Vaporized's take:
"New blends... just an idea I had to fit some G Rap and Chino verses over breaks from this classic album... try it out"
